Special Programs

We offer comfort to patients and families by
providing essentials and enriching the lives of those in need.

These resources are made possible by the generosity of grateful patients and their families.

Legacy Project

Recorded interviews, compiled videos, scrap-booking, memory bears made from a loved one’s clothes or personalized cards left for the next generation’s milestone events are just a few examples. In addition, we have partnered with external resources such as BeRemembered an online social networking service designed to help people record their life stories. These life stories can be incorporated into a memorial service if desired. Your donation can help a family create a lasting legacy.

Children’s Bereavement Library

The Children’s Bereavement Library is a special collection of literature and other helpful tools developed for children and families who have suffered a loss. These tools address the specific needs of children by explaining death and helping them to understand the common emotions associated with the grief journey. The library is currently available in Illinois, Michigan, and Delaware. This resource, like all Foundation programs, is provided free of charge and made possible by the consistent support of grateful patients and their families. Your contribution can help us to expand access to these and other valuable programs and services.
