Children ages 5-13 who have experienced a loss in the last 2 years. Since all kids grieve differently at different times, children may be on different levels of the bereavement process. Upon completion of the attached registration form, one of our staff will contact you to complete a grief inventory that will help our staff to meet each individual campers needs.
Please see our Camp Kangaroo section for upcoming dates and locations.
Donations made by people just like you make this free camp experience possible. Will you consider sending a child to Camp?
Children’s Bereavement Library
The Children’s Bereavement Library is a special collection of literature and other helpful tools developed for children and families who have suffered a loss. These tools address the specific needs of children by explaining death and helping them to understand the common emotions associated with the grief journey. The library is currently available in Illinois, Michigan, and Delaware. This resource, like all Foundation programs, is provided free of charge and made possible by the consistent support of grateful patients and their families. Your contribution can help us to expand access to these and other valuable programs and services.
